Billability
Billability is the share of the contract time that was booked on billable work. It is shown on the Hours report and as a tile on the overview.

Definition
Billability = billable hours ÷ contract hours
- Billable hours: hours booked on projects with the category billable.
- Non-billable hours: hours on projects with the category non-billable or leave. Leave counts as non-billable: time off is contract time that was not billed.
- Contract hours: 8 hours for every contract day in the period. The contract days are the working days set per user under Settings → Users; the default is Monday to Thursday.
- Unbooked: contract hours nobody booked at all.
Rules
- A running month is measured up to and including today.
- The organisation figure counts the people who booked hours in the period; Include people without bookings adds everyone else's contract hours as unbooked.
- The per-person table always lists everyone with bookings.
- Projects without a category count as non-billable; set the category on the Register tab.
Hours efficiency
The health area hours efficiency is related but not the same: it compares all booked hours, billable or not, with the contract hours, and so tells you whether people book their time at all.
