We’ve got some exciting news from Agile Analytics. Our new feature, "Teams Reporting," is here! It gives you all the essential metrics for each team at a glance!

Why do I need this?

“If everyone is responsible, no one is responsible.”

This statement shows that if KPIs or service levels are measured at a too high level, it is impossible to build support or ownership. Agile Teams have responsibility and autonomy, so important metrics must be calculated per team.

Every Agile implementation shows that once teams are made specifically responsible for a number of services in production, projects in Jira, and Git repositories, improvements are made faster. Team performance (and service levels) immediately skyrocket!

The 2001 statement from Werner Vogels (CTO of Amazon), "You build it, you run it," has proven itself. DevOps is based on this philosophy, and Agile Analytics Team-based reporting is the simplest and best way to see how a team is doing.

Teams Reporting includes all the metrics from Agile Analytics reported per team:

  • Team DORA Metrics

  • Team Sprint Insights

  • Team SLO & Error Budgets

  • Team Stock, Kudos and more!

The reports are sprint-based by default, covering one sprint as the time, though you can customize this to fit your needs.

Measuring team performance helps you see where things are going smoothly and where they need to be improved. It boosts collaboration, aligns everyone toward common goals, and drives continuous improvement. In short, it’s your new go-to for making your team more productive and efficient.

Why Measuring team-based performance is essential?

Measuring team-based performance is essential for several reasons:

  1. Spotting Bottlenecks: We can quickly identify and address inefficiencies by tracking performance.

  2. Aligned, Common Goals: This ensures all team members work toward the same objectives, improving focus, cohesion, and autonomy.

  3. Continuous Improvement: Regular measurement allows for ongoing assessment and refinement of processes, leading to higher-quality outcomes.
